639th QM Company Prepares for Deployment  The Montana Army National Guard’s 639th Quartermaster Company, headquartered here, has been ordered to federal active duty in support of the Global War on Terror.  The unit is scheduled to depart to their mobilization station at Ft. Lewis, Wash. during the first week in January 2009 from Helena.  The unit will be activated for approximately 12 months.

MTNG Members Return From Afghanistan:  Sixteen Montana Army National Guard Soldiers will return to the United States, Monday, Dec. 8, following a 9-month deployment with the Afghan National Army as an Embedded Training Team

Gibson Named Montana Youth Challenge Deputy Director:   A new deputy director was recently selected for the Montana National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program to replace Jan Rouse who was selected earlier this year as the new director for the program.
