EDUCATION BENEFITS
If you are looking to go to college or are currently enrolled in school working towards a degree, we offer programs that canassist your pursuit with substantial financial help. Depending on the occupation you accept for your military career you may
be eligible for increased benefits. All of these benefits for a part-time job. You can't get much better than that!
- 100% Tuition Assistance-Pays up to $4,500 per year for college tuition, if you qualify.
- Montgomery GI Bill-Different GI Bill programs exist depending on your military experience. You can visit
www.gibill.va.gov for more information. The regular National Guard GI Bill is CH 1606. - The Army National Guard Kicker-Supplement to the Montgomery GI Bill, pays an additional $350/month in living expenses-up to $12,600 over 36 months.*
- Student Loan Repayment Program(SLRP)-Pays off existing student loans up to $50,000, as well as student loans acquired after enlisting.
- Montana Army National Guard Scholarship-pays $900/semester as long as student is in good standing with institution and while funds are available. Institution must be an accredited Montana school.

These benefits can be used for an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree. If you want it, let the Montana Army National Guard pay for it! TROOPS TO TEACHERS
This program was established in 1994 to address force restructuring in the military by assisting retiring and seperatingactive duty service members transition to new careers in public education. It helps military personnel make the transition
from armed services to service in the classrooms. In addition, up to $5,000 is available to defray the costs of approved licensing/certification programs, or $10,000 is available as a bonus for committing to teach in a high needs school for a
